Excellent keyboard backed by exceptional customer service

Although I encountered a few minor issues with my kit, I was genuinely impressed by how both the community and the creator stepped in to help. The customer service was outstanding—quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and truly committed to resolving the problem. They patiently guided me through the troubleshooting process with clear instructions and promptly shipped replacement parts without any hassle.
Once everything was set up, the keyboard performed beautifully. While a few custom actions didn’t work perfectly out of the box, it wasn’t a major concern since Vial offers powerful customization options to fine-tune everything to your liking.
The build quality is excellent; clearly, a lot of care went into the design. This level of service is rare and deserves recognition. Highly recommended!

Exceptional product, great customer support

It's refreshing to come across a brand like this. Good, great, grand...exceptional! I came into a few issues that Vincent didn't fail to guide me through. Notably with the microcontrollers, Vial keymapper, and soldering. All of which was resolved without necessitating replacements or even crowd sourcing help. The price factors in cost of material, RSI relief, a rocking Discord community, brilliant engineering, and countless redeem-me support tickets from the founder himself.

Coming from a 60+ key keyboard to 36 feels more daunting than it needs to. I've made a habit to set out 20-30 mins per night learning the alphabet and function keys (Control, Command (meta), Alt, and Shift). One screen up with my keymap on Vial, and another with typing.com's 1-page prompt test. I'm at about 17 WPM from 6 WPM, 2 nights prior.

I'm pleased with my order and can finally quit the hunt for a working setup

Great build quality, excited to try it.

Excited with how the build is turning out. Vinnie was kind enough to send me a new thumb cluster board and MCU after I screwed up on my first try too. Assembly isn’t for the faint of heart, but if you can solder OK and feel comfortable flashing the firmware I think you’ll love it.

Awesome Customer Service

Keyboard feels good and seems like its going to help my carpal tunnel. I made a mistake when soldering the micro controller. The creator gave me advice and shipped me replacement parts right away. This is my first custom keyboard and the guys on the Discord have been so helpful. 10/10 first keyboard building experience.

Only left thumb was missing a socket, but service/advice was good

It took a little over a month for the goods to arrive after I sent payment. I was surprised at how big the cardboard box was.

I ordered all switches assembled, but three switches for left thumb were missing sockets.
I asked a question on the homepage and received a quick response.
When I asked what to do, I was shown how to open the lid and solder the sockets myself.
When I asked if I didn't know how to open the lid, he sent me a clear photo. Not only did they show me how to open it, but they also gave me sufficient instructions on where to solder.
There was nothing difficult to understand, and I was able to soldered sockets and use the finished product.

I was advised to return the entire product, but I wanted to use it so I handled it myself.

It was my first time using a three-dimensional keyboard, so it was difficult to use, but I think I'll get used to it.
I immediately realized that it would make it easier to use my thumbs.
